Brief: To help set up and support a marketing & communications department and oversee strategy, planning and delivery.
Description: A fast evolving engineering company based in Tyneside required a communications consultant to establish and manage a marketing department within the business. I was responsible for designing and executing a company-wide marketing strategy, implementing new procedures and systems, copywriting, proofreading, content creation for digital platforms, managing two members of staff and liaising with an external PR company in order to secure national press coverage and organise the successful launch of a new training academy.
