Project: Swimming Upstream
Brief: To provide marketing & comms support and advice for the making and promotion of ‘Swimming Upstream’, a film showcasing ‘About Being’, the North Cumbria dance group for stroke survivors and their families and friends; plus brand refresh and ‘marketing reset’ for Susie Tate Projects after achieving CIC status.
Description: Susie Tate, a dance artist specialising in 'dance in health', has recently achieved CIC status for her business Susie Tate Projects. Coinciding with the production and release of a film called Swimming Upstream, she wanted to review her marketing & comms activity, refresh her brand and relaunch Susie Tate Projects with a new look, new focus and a beautiful film that captures the spirit and essence of her practice.
Support provided: I have been supporting Susie to review and audit current marketing activity and create a future action plan including website refresh; co-ordinating process of brand refresh and relaunch; providing assistance at filming day; support with PR activity and launch of film (ongoing). We have particularly focused on new routes to market, identifying relevant stakeholders and fnding new ways to connect with audiences.
