Choose Cumbria is a multimedia marketing campaign, developed by CN Group Ltd working in partnership with employers and organisations to promote Cumbria as the ideal place to develop a career – with the lifestyle benefits to match. I provided support for the Content Manager creating engaging copy for the location sections as well as a series of lifestyle and business blogs.
Baltic Holidays is an independent travel specialist providing bespoke holidays, hand-picked escorted tours and tailor-made packages to the Baltic States, Russia, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. The company has recently undergone a restructure and the team are expanding the business. To coincide with these changes we are developing a marketing and communications strategy that will help maximise their resources, strengthen their brand and explore new routes to market.
Kaveney HR Solutions offers a wide range of HR services including HR Consultations, specialist support, training packages and psychometric testing to small, medium and large scale multi-sector organisations, throughout the UK. Based in Carlisle in Cumbria, the business was founded by Sue Kaveney in 2008. As it approaches its 10 year anniversary, Sue wanted to review her marketing and communications strategy, refresh her marketing plan and explore new routes to market.

Prism Arts is an inclusive arts organisation based in Cumbria. Their priority is to develop projects that enable disabled people, young people and older people to engage in the arts. In 2016 they contracted me as Strategic Marketing Lead for their Studio Theatre Company’s Regional Theatre Tour. The play, Tales of a Long Conflict, was devised by the company and commemorated the Battle of the Somme. It was performed at various venues across Cumbria.

In order to celebrate the positive aspects of their local community and promote health and wellbeing, the Maryport Health Assets Group and the Ewanrigg Local Trust, based in West Cumbria, commissioned me to design, manage and develop a promotional campaign which would incorporate a unique and distinct brand, a community magazine and a strategic marketing and communication plan to assist with delivery.
A regional producing theatre based in Keswick, Cumbria, engaged my services over a 4 year period to devise, manage and promote new access & audience development schemes, central to funding agreements and sustainability plans.
Established in 1987, Hospice at Home West Cumbria, is a well-known and well-respected charity providing home-based palliative care and other related services to the people of West Cumbria. With high fundraising targets and a forward thinking marketing team, there was a wealth of projects and events to get involved with. I worked with them 3 consecutive years to promote and develop their annual Colour Run fundraising event and supported their in-house team.
The Ewanrigg Local Trust are a community led organisation who manage the Big Local £1m Big Local Development Project in Maryport, West Cumbria. Their aim is to make Ewanrigg a better place to live for residents.
I worked with Curtis Productions to co-ordinate the design, production and distribution of a range of eye-catching hard copy and digital products used to promote a national theatre tour visiting over 20 arts venues.
